the purpose of this organization is to provide General
Education services & Quality Control of distance education
Education Services:
The World Association for Distance Education (WADE) was
established with a mission to promote the development
and maintenance of distance education quality and
ethical standards in higher education and training
programs. The WADE is also committed to promote high
standards of distance education, to recognize
professional excellence, and to provide an invaluable
guide to education recognition and quality in the
complex sector of world wide education.
Services provided by the World Association for Distance
Education,This commitment is achieved through the following
services:
Quality Accreditation of Distance Educational Institutions
The World Association for Distance Education establishes
academic, institutional, ethical and business standards,
it examines and evaluates institutions in terms of these
standards, and it grants accreditation to those who
qualify. The WADE accreditation program employs
procedures similar to those of other recognized
educational accrediting agencies. Eligibility for
education quality accreditation is open to distance
educational institutions from all over the world.
Degree Validation
Diploma (for individuals)
Graduates from the World Association for Distance
Education accredited institutions or from institutions
of distance education holding an equivalent
accreditation (approved by the WADE) may ensure and
demonstrate that their education diploma, earned
credits, and awarding institution are considered to be
bona fide and accredited according to the World
Association for Distance Education standards by
requesting an WADE Degree Validation Diploma. The WADE
Degree Validation Diploma also specifies the total
credits earned and their equivalency in US Semester
Credits.
Credits
Certificates (for online courses, and distance
education)
The World Association for Distance Education may certify with an US credits certificate the US credits equivalency of any course, subject or continuing distance education earned at an World Association for Distance Education accredited institution or from institutions of education holding an equivalent accreditation (approved by the WADE). To obtain this credits certificate candidate must demonstrate that the corresponding learning outcomes of the course or subject have been met.

International
Excellence (for individuals)
The Excellence Doctorate is a professional recognition
that provides an independent quality assurance reference
for highly qualified professionals from all fields. This
award is issued by the World Association for Distance
Education after a through analysis of the candidate
curriculum vitae and the approval of the majority of the
Commission. The Doctor Honoris Causa of Excellence is a
recognized mark of professional ability, outstanding
professional career, and/or international achievements
in the private sector for those who deserve it.
